Here we go again. I don’t know if you ever heard anything about AMBUSH. If you didn’t, it doesn’t matter too much though. Anyway AMBUSH is a pretty crazy fashion label from Tokyo, Japan. For the time being they’re specialized on Jewelry. Huge, eye-catching rings and necklaces. Actually it’s not quite right to say they only do Jewelry stuff. Yoon and VERBAL are that genius team doing graphics, really unique products. As for Yoon, she’s a genuine stylist in fashion and editorials. As for Verbal ( you might know him from Teriyaki Boyz..you know fast and furioouuus..drift, drift, drift?? ), he’s still  active with his passion for music but on the other hand he’s a great mind in fashion. Both of them had a lot of features with well-known brands as BAPE, Zippo or appearances in Magazines, both of them share a really unique and impressive perception for style and clothing. I think it’s really interesting to watch their progress. They are getting bigger and bigger. Word!

I am back! Oh yeah : Tanned and totally revived! 5 weeks of vacation in Mongolia were just wonderful. Even though I am still bothering with reorganizing my stuff and the weather is really disappointing I cannot wait for the Electric Icon party hosted by Pink Pong on Tuesday at Icon. Someone we all know promised me to make me a welcoming cake. Haha, I am looking forward to that party! Anyway let’s have a great party together and a revival for my blogging. Love.

onto, onto, onto : I found these and I fell in love with them when I had them on my very own head and could listen to music. Sure these are nothing for the superduper DJs, but for the consumer. I love the simple design, the colors and the sound. I just love them. I think of getting another one. I got one of these audio technica headphones from the japanese label onto in a lovely green. Perfect rave color! What about one of those in neon orange with stars on it ? Lovely huh!

I’m a little late, therefore I got something lovely for the eye : Brush Stroke Exhibiton ! Todd James aka REAS and Lydia Fong aka Barry McGee came together to let you experience a fantastic joint show at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen. Both of their visual trademarks and collaborations cap off the show.

Bearbrick’s Spring / Summer Show for 2011.

Well, I am in a distant country + 8 hour difference and I still managed it to find an available laptop with wlan and blog a little bit. I am quite relieved that I can use my beloved Blackberry, unfortunately without WorldWideWeb access. No! No reason to shoot me. At least I can stay in contact with the folks here. I think I would get totally lost without any communication device. I mean how oldschool is it to use morse.

Anyway, I hope that everyone in  Berlin and from all other places on this cute planet are having a great time with sun, rave and rave ! I wish I could rave and dance. But let’s see how the raving scene is here..where I am at the moment. What people told me upto now sounded quite good to me. Well, well.

BIG BANG BIG BOOM – the new wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

We are here to experience another creative piece of BLU. This artists latest video work ‘ Big Bang Big Boom’ is a masterpiece combining cinematography, painting and installation work. The level of interaction amongst Blu’s work and the real-world is phenomenal as they aim to offer their two cents on the theory of evolution.

PS : If you haven’t heard of him before, you should see the collaboration with David Ellis, my all time favourite!
