The world closes ranks. Globalization is not only an ecological phenomenon, in
club music it leads to a whole new eclectic sound. It’s swayed by a range of styles
that include Kuduro, Baile Funk, Cumbia, Dancehall and other genres that nurture
from the contemporary dance music innovations of the Caribbean, Latin America
or Africa. Alloyed with European club beats, tropical is a yelling wake-up call to
all things nostalgic in club music and bound to define the dance sound of the new
decade.

Tim Turbo is Germany’s new blood in eclectic global club sounds. As a DJ and
producer he brings tropical spawns and its international adaptions to the world’s
clubs, beeing right in the middle of a new wave of tropical music appreciation in
European dance music.

While his own productions are ment to hustle all kinds of dancefloors, Tim has
recently put his hands on club dominaters like Crookers and Schlachthofbronx as a
remixer. He also vested Caribbean artists like Ward 21 and T.O.K. in a all new musical
outfit by fusing the ryhthm and riddims of the tropics with accurate dance music
engineering of equator’s north side. As a DJ, Tim has played all over europe plus a
small US tour and is loved for his club ready sets.

Later this year Tim Turbo’s debut EP featuring multinational global bass outfit Spoek
Mathambo and Gnucci Banana will see it’s release on Vienna’s Big’N’Hairy Records.
