“Tyskerhar is my new favorite act out of Berlin. I was hooked instantly and can’t stop dancing.” Why did www.bigstereo.net write these kind of words? Who is Tyskerhar? And how did it all begin? In a tiny living room in Berlin-Friedrichshain, Mr. Seek Zag Lazer and Ms. Mau Dou Mao from Beijing spark the fuse to make Berlin’s long awaited explosion in musical stagnation in summer 2006. They foundet Tyskerhar, a symbiosis of style between two continents. Booming economies are for nerds with bad haircuts, Tyskerhar makes Chinese electro beats go boom, which is far more cool than every cooperation between Germany and China has ever been before. In summer 2006 they started writing tracks and recording them at home. First airplays on Berlin’s “Fritz” radio followed such as gigs in different countries like China, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic and of cours in whole Germany! After having released their second full-length album, called forever, they’ve been touring different locations in Europe again, always bringin’ the shit down to the floor!
