Wie Amerikanische Zeitungsjungs rasen sie auf Fahrrädern durch die Stadt und verteilen „Papergirl“ – eine Rolle aus Kunst. Nimmt der perplexe Beworfene anfangs fälschlicherweise an, es handle sich hierbei um eine herkömmliche Zeitung, wird er beim Öffnen sogleich eines Besseren belehrt: eine feines Sammelsurium aus künstlerischen Werken, weder editiert noch gedruckt, sondern lose und frei schmiegen sich Originale, Drucke, Fotos und Kopien verschiedenster Künstler lieb und sanft aneinander. Jede Rolle wird zum Unikat.
Die Ausstellung zum Projekt ist noch bis zum 23. Juli in der Neurotitan Galerie zu begutachten.
I’m a little late, therefore I got something lovely for the eye : Brush Stroke Exhibiton ! Todd James aka REAS and Lydia Fong aka Barry McGee came together to let you experience a fantastic joint show at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen. Both of their visual trademarks and collaborations cap off the show.
Am heutigen Samstag ist es soweit: Der große Megaspree-Sternmarsch startet!
Um 15 Uhr ist Auftakt in sechs Bezirken:

- Kreuzberg: Oranienplatz
- Treptow: Alt-Stralau/Elsenbrücke
- Mitte: Tacheles, Oranienburger Straße
- Prenzlauer Berg: Mauerpark
- Moabit; B-Ladan, Krupp/Lehrter Straße (neu)
Die sechs Demozüge werden sich am Roten Rathaus zu einem großen Protestfest vereinigen. Kommt alle, seid kreativ, zeigt eure Meinung, mit Schildern, Verkleidung, Performance und allem möglichen. Wir werden viele sein und ein deutliches Zeichen setzen für eine Stadt, die nicht nur vom Geld regiert werden darf! Geh auf die Straße! Für dein Recht auf Stadt!
Die Demonstration geht bis 23 Uhr im Freien und anschließend geht es bei der MEGASPREE – TANZ FÜR DEINE STADT (facebook event) in der Münze auf 5 Floors weiter.

but not just swiss cheese and chocolate is nice. there are also some awesome musicians. malik is one of these. his roots go far back. he used to do hip hop in the nineties in berlin and he worked together with some big names. he discovered electronic music and moved back to zurich many years ago. he is still in the music biz. here is his last year´s mix maliximize. we are proud to bring him back to his former hometown berlin and present him to the pink-pong party crowd at the frühstart at mikz at the 29th of july!
The family is at the moment totally into soccer and we believe Germany will win the worldcup for sure. Allthough we watching the games all day long we also working on some major changes. The website will get a refresh with some slight changes in typo, bigger sizes for bigger screen-resolutions and backend-improvements while waiting for the official wordpress 3 release.
The next really big thing is that we risk to step into the record-release-business. Yep – we are going to release the new album of Pablo Decoder which will be huge! We believe in it and you should too – just listen to this teaser on SoundCloud which should convince you of the talented mr. Decoder.
Finally we weren’t Pink-Pong if we wouldn’t have any party-news for you: Next week’s thursday (june 24th) is the day where Pink-Pong gonna host the Frühstart at Mikz (Revaler Str. 99). We proudly present Schuster & Schneider from Mailand next to The Sexinvaders, Glideside, Digitate & Lenz. For everybody who’s not familar with the new ‘Frühstart at Mikz‘ party-series should look at the poster which features all dates & read the german promo-text below (sorry, no english so far):
