Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary – aka Modeselektor – are famed for producing music that is out of the ordinary and differing from the typical 4×4 Techno that many DJs from their hometown Berlin are known for. Their live-on-stage visuals of the last tour were awesome: really funny and in a video game design. Their new Video “Evil Twin” has the same style: funny, beautifully made, deranged and arty. Check it out!

Some songs will last forever. We already heard them about a hundred times in hundred different versions and the original will always be the best! But now it seems like a cover will be the new “original”!
Moullinex & Peaches worked together for a cover from Michael Sembellos “Maniac”. Some of you will know this song from the 80′s movie Flashdance.
It sounds great and it looks awesome!

We love the new Flashdance! do you?

Ferdinand Sarnitz aka Left Boy is a 22 years old fucking multi-talented musician. He started off as a vocal percussionist and develops into a rapping, singing and producing artist. His music is often sample based, ranging from hip hop to electro to acoustic, sometimes blending all into one. After working on new material though the start of 2011, he released his first self-made video for „Jack Sparrow“. I guess you will like the song, because mostly everyone knows that feeling. “Outro” is his latest song. An amazing video with some beatiful slow-motion pictures. I really like that kind of music and you should give it a try! Enjoy the videos and the songs.
2012 should be a good year for this newcoming austrian guy.

Your chance to like him and to listen to his music!!

So if you are following our blog you should already know who YALL is! Our friends from Barcelona are going to visit us in the next week to celebrate a special BIRTHDAY (stay tuned)! But did you know that Joan has another project beside YALL? It is called Chinese Christmas Cards. Where is the relation to the name and its sound? It is the love it is made with! It could be official soundtrack of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and this is why they called their first EP Barcelona. I was waiting for the release for months and I am really glad and happy to listen to it now! I think you will love this, the winter is coming unfortunately but Barcelona will bring you back to the summer and all of its great emotions. You can get the whole album for 2,99 € on iTunes and it is worth buying it!

Get an impression of their music by watching the official teaser video made by CCCs friend Xavi Trilla (from Black Milk Studios) who stayed with them during all the recording process.

The time I discovered, what a great band The XX is, was around that moment when everyone else around me was already fed up with it and moved on to something else.
The desicion not to get into it earlier was more like a conscious one, I was somehow very annoyed by the whole hype around it – which I regret after and I swore to myself to be generally more open torwards hypes.
So this time I might be quite ahead of the next hype, called Lana Del Rey. She recently came out of nowhere, being unsigned, with a handmade video and a killer single called Video Games.
Two weeks or so after she announced two shows, one in London which was sold out in about 30 minutes and one at Berlin’s Roter Salon which is definitely sold out by now. So much for the hype.
But seriously, for a long time I haven’t been so overwhealmed by a song as well as by an artist, one that on one hand closes the gap between Amy Winehouse and Isobel Campell and on the other might be a candidate of becoming a pop demigod like Madonna or Lady Gaga.
I don’t know who came up with calling her the Gangstah-Nancy Sinatra, but I think that describes it all quite well at the end.
Her debut double A side single will be out in Germany from October 7th, and this time you better believe the hype!
