All the mourning won’t bring us any further: This summer is in its last days, soon sunglasses will be exchanged for some extra stylish leather jackets, campfires will be extinguished and chimneys lightened! The one mistake to do is just not being prepared for it, and preperation is first of all an adjustment of your iPod playlist.
To help you with this important, yet simple task, we introduce to you Japan Sue, a band from Canada – as one might expect from a band called Japan Sue, right?
This three-piece combo is constituted of singer Kira Sawatzky and her two fellow band members Mark Webber and Jon Sherman, these latter are also teaming up as Neon Canyon, and have just released their first EP.
Bright Lights in now their first tune to be released as a trio, and as I said before, this is how I imagine an evening in fall, equipped only with headphones, a bottle of wine… and my portable chimney! For Japan Sue, the ethereal voice of Kira Sawatzky in combination with the calm sounds of the track itself works really nice as a catapult to another mind dimension, as well as a background music for just doing something useless, like writing a book, doing oil paintings or simply calming down a bit.
Japan Sue announced to hit us with an EP within the next month or two, including a new version of Bright Lights, the actual version you can download by following the link below – we’ll keep you up-to-date about this one!
