In contrary to at least some people I know writing for this blog, and a lot of people I know, who are “into music”, I am really not the biggest fan of Flying Lotus.
It’s just that at the point where all the music dudes I hang around with, hear innovation, craziness, whatever.. I just hear… nothing.
So a good way for me to keep at least a little common ground with most of my friends and relatives, is liking Flying Lotus’ music videos, they’re really all great and quite easy to like.
Kill Your Co-Worker is a brilliant example for it, and if you’ve ever been wondering, what would have happened, if Dire Straits’ Money for Nothing video would have had a little War of the Worlds, some Terminators and Mortal Kombat-esque finishing moves, here comes the answer.
