All good things come in threes – that’s what J.R.R. Tolkien thought when he wrote the trilogy “The Lord of The Rings” or the Wachowski-brothers filmed all parts of “The Matrix“. Now the belgian electro duo Mumbai Science pondered: Why don’t do a triple EP-release?
Result: The first part of their “The Unified Theory” trilogy including two wicked tracks is out in stores since the 9th of January and gains already support by Tiga and Crookers. Even Boys Noize spun this tune in his set at ‘I Love Techno‘.

And today (06.02.12) they up the ante with their second part of “The Unified Theory“, which comes along with swift and groovy techno-tunes that seems to be quite different from the forerunners “Researchers” and “Commandments“. Still these groovy vibes are giving not only us a thrill but also the Mixmag speaks highly of these guys! So what will the “The Unified Theory Part 3” sound and look like? We don’t know but we are already excited to find out!

“70s Funk, Slayer & the Chipmuncks”…wer das als seine musikalischen Einflüsse angibt, von dem sollte man eigentlich alles andere als hochkarätigen Electro erwarten. Doch weit gefehlt! Diesen Freitag liefert ein Münchener Live-Act eine Show im Gretchen ab, die sich gewaschen hat. Die Rede ist von keinem Anderen als Zombie Nation, der sich mit seinem Hit Kernkraft 400 bereits in unzählige Clubs und die Herzen der Raver dieser und ferner Lande gespielt hat. Wer einmal jenem Ohrwurm lauschen durfte, wird völlig verstrahlt von der Kraft der trashigen Electro-Beats, denn er schlägt ein wie eine Bombe!

Doch der werte Herr Florian Senfter aka Splank! aka Zombie Nation hat nachgelegt. Erst kürzlich hat er gemeinsam mit TIGA als Duo ZZT die LP “Partys Over Earth” veröffentlicht und eine weitere kultige Dance Platte abgeliefert! Wer einmal von seinen leckeren Mixen aus Kickdrums und Synthies probiert hat, der will eben nichts anderes mehr.
