I was heading to my aerobic class near south beach when suddenly this white corvette convertible pulled over next to me. Neon lights were reflecting on the windscreen.
Looking inside I spotted Sakura Night and Rikk Sloan, better known as Savage House. I remembered them immediately, a cuban guy named Montana introduced them to me a while ago on his yacht.
For days there were rumors, that they had come down all the way from New York City to do a remix of „Vow“, the one track I was listening to all the time on my walkman while I was rollerskating down the beach promenade.
They turned their heads, eyeing me; I nodded, so did they. Sakura night grabbed a cassette tape which was lying in the footwell next to some crushed Pepsi cans and empty styrofoam McDonald’s boxes and handed it to me. „Go and play this on your walkman, kid“ he said. „Just as loud as you can“ Rikk Sloan added.

<a
