Tonight I just feel like sharing music-videos. Music videos are somehow not so important anymore to me like back in the days when video killed the radio-star. But that disappoints me in some way because the directors put so much love and heart in these short clips and maybe that’s the point why I want to show you 3 of my actual favorites.

First is the new Mystery Jets single “Dreaming of Another World” and guess what? The last time I listened to them was when they were “Half in Love with Elizabeth” – not to forget the really great Dolorean Remix which was the Soundtrack to my summer two(!) years ago. So my expectations were quite high but they didn’t fail – no, they got a new song which could become part of the soundtrack to my summer-days 2010. Directed by Yoann Lemoine.

Second video comes along with Breakbot‘s nice and easy electronic sunshine track called “Baby I’m Yours”. The special thing ’bout the video is, that it’s painted frame per frame which means that it includes 2000(!) watercolored paintings by Irina Dakeva – spreads also a great summer-feeling und much love. Produced by Wizz.

Third and last video is made for the newcomer’s (don’t know if they are, but for me they are…) FM Belfast and their track “Underwear”. To describe the video I just want to quote Stereogum: “This video has lots of fun dancing but also strikes an eerie note, since it focuses on the ideas that a) lots of people dance alone b) in their underwear and c) not many people look beautiful dancing, especially once they’re slowed down, sped up, or frozen. The result, however, is quite beautiful: Intimate, lonely, and still fun.” Directed is this piece of beauty by Daniel Schreinert.

Hope you had some fun watching my fav’s and liked this kind of music-video post. What are your actual summer-tracks? Tell me in the comments! I wish you lot’s of sunshine and love – Felix
